Welcome to Vayan Handpans. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.

2. Our Products
Vayan specializes in premium handcrafted handpans and related accessories.
Each handpan is individually crafted and tuned. Because of the artisanal manufacturing process, minor variations in color, surface texture, finish, and appearance may occur.
Product photographs represent the general appearance of each model. Slight differences between the photographs and the delivered instrument are not necessarily defects.
We strive to describe our products accurately, including their musical scales, materials, finishes, and specifications.
If a material error appears in a product listing, we reserve the right to correct it and address any affected orders in accordance with applicable law.
3. Orders and Purchase Confirmation
When placing an order, customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
After an order is submitted, customers will receive an electronic confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, unavailable products, payment verification issues, or material listing errors.
If an order is canceled after payment has been collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be disclosed during checkout.
Payments are processed through the payment methods available at checkout.
Orders requiring advance payment will not enter production or fulfillment until payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Handcrafted Production and Delivery
Many Vayan handpans are individually produced following an order.
Production and delivery estimates will be displayed on the applicable product page or communicated during the purchasing process.
Because handcrafted instruments require careful manufacturing, tuning, inspection, and preparation, production times may vary.
If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will notify the customer and provide the delay-related choices and refund rights required by applicable law.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Vayan works with authorized manufacturing and shipping partners to fulfill customer orders.
Depending on the destination and service availability, orders may be shipped through DHL or another established shipping carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If a shipment cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply where legally permitted.
Shipping costs, delivery estimates, and applicable international shipping conditions are described in our Shipping Policy.
7. International Orders and Customs
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Any such charges not collected at checkout may be the customer's responsibility, as disclosed during the purchasing process.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements.
8. Returns and Refunds
Vayan offers a 30-day return policy, subject to the eligibility requirements and procedures described in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Returns must be authorized before an instrument is shipped back.
Return eligibility, product condition requirements, shipping responsibilities, and refund processing are governed by our published Returns and Refunds Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these Terms limits a customer's nonwaivable statutory rights.
9. Two-Year Tuning Warranty
Vayan stands behind the craftsmanship and musical integrity of its instruments.
Eligible Vayan handpans include a two-year limited tuning warranty, beginning on the date of delivery.
For qualifying tuning issues, Vayan will coordinate professional retuning through an approved specialist.
When shipment is necessary for approved warranty service, Vayan will cover authorized shipping costs to and from the service location.
Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by accidental impacts, improper handling, unauthorized tuning attempts, corrosion resulting from improper care, or other excluded circumstances described in our Warranty Policy.
Customers can initiate a warranty request by emailing info@vayanhandpans.com with their order details and a description of the issue.

10. Instrument Care and Customer Responsibility
Handpans are precision-tuned musical instruments and require appropriate care.
Customers should follow the care recommendations provided with their instruments, including safe storage, appropriate handling, and protection from moisture, excessive heat, and physical impacts.
Damage resulting from misuse or improper care may not qualify for warranty coverage.
11. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All original content displayed on the Vayan website, including our branding, product descriptions, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and other creative materials, is owned by Vayan or used with appropriate authorization.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
12. Acceptable Website Use
Visitors agree not to misuse our website or interfere with its operation.
Prohibited activities include fraudulent purchases, unauthorized access attempts, malicious software distribution, and unlawful use of website content or services.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect our customers, website, and business operations.
13. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party providers for e-commerce operations, payment processing, shipping, and other services.

Vayan is not responsible for independently operated third-party websites, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
